taxes in multiple states?

I worked in VA and lived in TX for 3 months and was single. I got married in March, quit my job and moved to MD and am umployed since. Hubby works in MD. When we file jointly this year, do we have to file in all three states? When I was single, I used to file in both VA and TX (i.e pay TX but file in VA but pay nothing to VA). Any tips?

  1. You probably need to see a Professional. You will need to file in VA and MD. Your post said in the past you filed in TX, but somehow that seems confusing since TX has no state income tax. What really complicates your situation is that you got married. But then, marriage is a little complicated anyway, doncha know.
