Illegal Immigrants Using Others SSN?

I have a friend that is the manager (not hiring manager) for the fast food place that has multiple illegal immigrants using other people's SSN to work. He has told me this and said he cannot do anything about it. I already informed my local Police Department and Sheriff and they said they cannot do anything about it? I don't understand why they wouldn't do what they can to protect other people's security. I called ICE and informed them as well, but nothing has been done. Is there someone that will actually do something about this? This is insane I can't believe the police aren't doing their job. Do I have to write the state government? - I just don't understand why the authorities won't do anything to protect the American people - Would informing the media (news) or the state government do anything?

3. They won"t do much. Most in the government simply don't care. Yes, they will stand on a stage and say tough words, but most of it is bs. My niece's BF is an illegal border jumper, he has used someone elses SSN a number of times. He has been sent back to Mexico but always ends back in. I am an immigrant myself, but do it the legal way. I cannot work yet, so i deal with it. I have to wake up in the morning knowing I have a clear conscience.and aren't ripping off some other poor bastard. It seems most of the agencies are more interested in tracking down the murderers and other violent illegals. Seems smart to me, but SSN fraud really gets under my skin and so does my dickhead family member.
4. They usually dont do too much! They talk alot but never really back it up! My Boyfriend is Illegal and we are currently working on getting his citizinship and he isnt able to work at all and that is somthing we are both willing to deal with right now! To many (NOT ALL) but Alot of illegal imigrants dont care about anyone or what they are doing to these peoples identities! They dont realize that they could do it the right way and not be so selfish and careless to the hard working Americans who are only trying to do the same thing that the illegals are doing! Trying to make a better life! They come here and do selfish things like that And then dont understand why most people dont want them here! Im not racist! Like I said my Boyfriend is Illegal but the most important thing to him is becoming legal so he can do things the Right Way! But because of the careless illegals like the ones who steal SSN's, is why no one really wants the illegals here!
5. First of all, do you have concrete proof that this is happening? Mostly, law enforcement won't respond to such tips without real evidence, since they get so many of them. Also, if they conduct a raid and you turn out to be wrong, you could get charged with harassment. It also depends on what exactly they're using the number for. Putting it on a tax return is different from applying for credit with it. In most cities, police and sheriff's deputies are not authorized to enforce federal immigration law. You need to wait for a response from ICE. They tend to go after the largest companies first.
6. One thing you have to remember about cases like this (and others) is it takes time to investigate. They can't go by "someone said so", they have to have some kind of proof in their hands before they can accuse someone of something. They also are swamped with so many cases that this may not be high on the priority list. One thing that crosses my mind is, if the manager knows this to be true, why doesn't he refuse to honor it? This means he is breaking the law by not enforcing the law when he knows fraud is going on. He needs to take proof to the police and show them what he is dealing with and get advice from them on what he can do to help put a stop to it. Call the news media and let them investigate. If anyone can weed out the problems, they can and they have more time for stories like this. I, too, thank you for taking the time to report this. Just have to find the right people to talk to to get the action needed to correct this problem. Good luck
7. I say if your friend has access to the records in question have them make copies to back up the claims. Then once that is done, contact ICE again and let them know you have proof. Keep in mind it takes time to investigate, build a case, then act on it. It is not like what you see on television. Honestly, if you get the documentation I suggest you contact the fast food companies corporate office and inform them of the situation. Let them know that if something is not done within a certain period of time, it will be told to the media. Trust me, the potential bad publicity and embarrassment will spur the company to action. But again, the main issue is to be able to back up what you claim. Good luck, you have the right attitude don't let anyone dissuade you.
8. Call arizona cops they are very harsh on this topic. I would explaine to them that well there are illegals useing using other people's social security numbers. In phx arizona right now they are going around picking up illegals if they find them any where. So ya arizona is a very strict state on this. That is crazy that u called ice and they couldnt do shit about it
