How do I network online and also find a mentor?

I have heard that this is the best way to get a great job, but I have no idea how to do it! Can anyone give me any advice? I am currently a college junior majoring in Health Services Management. Who should I be talking to and is there a way to find a mentor? Thank you for your time. I didn't ask if there were any scams out there that people could steer my way, thank you.
