What search and rescue jobs are there in the military?

I've always wanted to be part of the military and search and rescue job. What jobs are there for that type. Also, I know this isnt to do with the question, but if you join the army with a PHD can you become a psychologist for them too? Sorry that wasnt clear, I wasnt going to do both :P

1. decide.. search and rescue, or a DIRCOM as a Psychologist. you cannot do both. the physical requirements for S&R are very stringent. all five Branches have that sort of job, although the CG makes it a main focus., whereby anyone can be called up to assists, as opposed tot he other 4 branches where only a select few get to do it.
2. theres really nothing that does searching and rescuing all damn day, why don't u volunteer to look for missing people in your spare time.
3. there is no such thing as just a search unit or a rescue unit ,your doing both that is why it's called search and rescue .
