One doesn't RETIRE from a honeymoon. One retires from WORKING.
he`s always been on search and rescue....it`s just that on honeymoon it was Kate doing the search and rescue on him..
No, he is English, we don't retire from the honeymoon as they do where you are from. Are you saying that the Duke of Cambridge is an ex search and rescue pilot or that you are? Who said he was "grafting" at the search and rescue job? I've never heard anyone describe it thus. Oh, I SEEeeee, you are trying to be funny, oh yes, I can see it now, oh ha.........ha yes, very amusing *yawn* let's see if I can muster another ha.............no, sorry, never mind but, I promise I'll get back to this question later on in the day, after this sudden onset of sheer boredom, wears off. Is it to much to expect people to get the facts straight? Apparently so. Well, the only cure for (wilful) ignorance is education so let's sort out yours: His Royal Highness the Prince William's honeymoon was in the Seychelles islands. His trip to Canada was a Royal Visit at the request of the Canadian government in his official capacity as a member of the Canadian Royal Family and future Canadian monarch. As for "grafting" he's by no means dong that, nor is he an ex-SAR pilot. When he was bashing about in an RCAF helicopter on Prince Edward Island, he was learning valuable new skills useful to his career. (Canada being the only country that trains its SAR pilots in water landings, it's a useful technique to know.) At present his military duties are taking up his time as his unit, 22 Squadron, is in the process of working up in preparation for a 2012 deployment to the Falklands.
The only thing he's searching to rescue are the few remaining hairs on his head.
