I planted 3 arbor vitae last year and one is looking yellowish. What can I do?

  1. I would look to se if they are all getting the same amount of water If the yellow one is getting more or less than the other two adjust it to get the same. Other wise it may be of no consequence. Are they all getting the same amount of sun?
  2. More detail would help, but it sounds like an iron deficiency. Have you had the soil tested? It won't hurt to use chelated iron, which you can buy in a hose-end sprayer. If you can take a sample to your county extension office, they can give you a more definitive answer. Good luck! VCE Master Gardener
