chronic unemployment makes me very depressed. what to do?

I have been unemployed since January 2008. I graduated in May 2008 with bachelor of science in mathematics. Never found any job since. I just don't hear back whenever I apply. No company ever responds. Went to psychiatrist and he put me on lexapro for depression and klonopin for anxiety. Despite these meds, I am still very depressed. I requested psychiatrist to increase dosage but he did not saying higher dose will result in significant weight gain. I continue applying daily. I spend hours on monster, careerbuilder as well as federal job listings. Its the same story as usual -- i never hear back. my county is most populated in the state. has population over 1 million and no jobs anywhere. badly over-crowded with people looking for work. you will not also find any hourly or minimum wage jobs don't have money to move. moving has big costs. i also filed chapter 7 bankruptcy last year, because unemployment left me with no choice el telecote: did you read the additional details? el telecote: its not a question of doing job you don't like. the issue here is "job scarcity". I think you have a comprehension problem because you can't read "you will not also find any hourly or minimum wage jobs" in the additional details. if it was that easy i wouldn't be asking

  1. Take some fukitol or as it's more commonly referred to smoke some weed you won't have job still but you won't give a fu*k either.
  2. You may have to move to a more conservative stste. Democrat controlled states are always high unemployment.
  3. Get off your @ss and take a job you don't want. Then do it to the best of your ability until something better, maybe even in your field, comes along. That's what the rest of us do. In other words, grow up, man. EDIT: Your additional details piss me off even worse, dude. I'm doing a job I don't like, that doesn't make enough money, but at least I'm employed, which is more than I can say for you.
