A TEMP THROUGH AN AGENCY?

I am working with an agency(RobertHalf Accountemps) on a temp job which does have chances of being permanent. I wanted to know if i ask my agent to find me a better paying temp job, would the agent be capable of notifying my manager about my motives of finding a better placement? The reason i ask is because the agent is well connected with the company that i work for and is in contact with my manager. I am just worried that if i tell him to find me a better job with better pay, he will notify my manager of my intentions and then that could affect my current employment.
