EMPLOYMENT Is a CV (Curriculum Vitae) in Britain the same as a resume in the US?

I'm applying for a job at Jagex (UK company), which requires a CV. I have a prepared resume formatted for most US-based job applications; are there any changes required? Thanks :)

1. The format is the same but a CV is generally longer with more detail. I say generally but most people in the US have resumes that are too long and more like a CV.
