Are there job search sites for engineers other than careerbuilder?
What are some good engineer job search sites other than monster, careerbuilder , dice and hot jobs ( yahoo ) .I am an electrical engineer with experience mostly in electronics engineering. I have been wondering for a while if there are any websites other than the above mentioned ones. Are there?

- Craigslist
- not sure about that, but you can just visit the websites of companies that you're interested in. that's what I did. however, I'm an electrical engineering graduate who specialized in power.
- stay away from careerbuilder, cybercoders and craigslist - they are spam and ripoff sites. Best bet is to get on to the companies actual website and put your resume up there. These days, headhunters don't even do any good. Trust me, i'm starting a new engineering job monday with a local company i've been gunning for over 4 months. The online "job finder" sites suck dog **** . Go the companies directly.
- Yes. You need to research which companies are in the engineering field that you are interested in and then go to those companies web pages and they often have a way for you to search the available positions in the company. That is the best way to find available jobs in my opinion. You also want to try and find engineering career fairs. That way you can actually talk to someone in person and ask all the questions you want.
