If you have ever ben fired from a job please come here?

okay say u are applyng for a job and it ask you have u ever ben fired discharged or involuntarily terminated and you have but you selected no. how would they find out if its true or not. Okay will they contact the employer and ask why did your last emplyee leave? What if ur manager backs you up and say that you voluntary quit or something then the other employer wil never know right?
