What are some good colleges in California and Colorado?

I am looking for a school were the classes are not just sit there and take not and then take a test, I like doing projects and field trips. I like art and science, and I do not like math and english.

In California, you have many many more choices but I would recommend: CalTech, Berkley, Stanford, Art Center College of Design, California College of the Arts, University of the Pacific Hope this helps
2. Math and English is basic GE, you can't get around them if you want to graduate. California has a wide public system, consisting of the UC and CSU systems.
