I was planning to go navy as a Search and Rescue Corpsman, but I came across the National Guard when I was browsing some military sites, and I saw that they do search and rescue. But unfortunately, I can't seem to find any websites that tell me what you do in the National Guard for SAR or what jobs there are. I would love to jump out of a plane, scuba dive, climb mountains, everything, I am an EMT-B and love it. Does the National Guard deploy? America's awesome, but I would like live in a different country at least once in my life. What types of SAR does the National Guard do? I've always been a water baby, so I definitely want to do water rescues, but I also love being in the air, and climbing, so I would alo want a flight medic type job also. Is there any Search and Rescue Jobs in the Guard that I can do all this? I would prefer if someone told me who has experience, or knows someone that does, but anyone's answer would be appreciated. Thanks!
