Best places to live in New England with many jobs available without college experience?

Hi, I am living in Maine and I love it here because it's so safe for my daughter. There aren't any jobs here, unless you are almost retired. It's impossible to find a job here if you are under 35 and anywhere you work the pay is terrible. I need to move!! HELP!
