whats better a walk in or an online job application?

Hello, I've been searching for a job probably about 2 or 3 months now. Nothing. I have applied to many places online. I just turned 18 years old. this would actually be my first job. I wanted to know if its better to apply online or walk into the actual place your interested in? Or if anyone knows of any sites with job listings... Or if anyone has any suggestions or advice anything id love to hear it, thanks.

1. I always believe that a walk-in application is best. Ideally the manager would take it. If you're really unsure - do both ...
2. Here's what you do. 1) Send in an application. 2) Drop by, and ask if they received it. This gives you a good foot in the door to make sure they got it, and also give them a chance to see who you are. 3) Volunteer If you have no experience then you can offer to volunteer to get some. This can be called an internship or assistant or whatever. It gets you out of the house and working, which will eventually pay off. Also, #4, keep going to school!
