how easy is it to find a job in maine?

im from minnesota and im thinking of moving up to the new england area. how hard would it be to find work? im a high school graduate and attended college for two years(mechanical engineering) and have years of experience with forklift, computers, soldering, microsoft word, excell, etc. my wife has extensive financial, banking, asian cooking, experience, etc. we be very grateful if this could get answered by a someone living in maine or has lived in maine. we have been told some great things about maine(less stressful than minnesota, more laid back, better way of life, GREAT SEAFOOD!!) and want people's honest opinion, thanks Jimy, oh and what type of classic rock do they like up their!!!!
