How to find residential/commercial masonry/landscaping jobs?

Looking for ways to find more jobs. Looking for ways to obtain/find residential jobs and commercial jobs in the masonry/landscaping fields?

1. 1. Work out a good area which is likely to have the sort of people living in it that will use your services, and will have enough money to pay you. 2. Get some nice flyers printed, with a contact number and maybe your photograph, as well as a nice description of the sort of stuff you do. Make sure it is targeted at the sort of properties you have decided on. 3. Get some smart clothes on, take your flyers and go round personally, knocking on the doors. When they answer, introduce yourself, explain that you are a landscaper or whatever you are describing yourself as and ask if they have any jobs they are looking to get done. If not, ask if you can leave them one of their flyers so if they maybe want something done later on they contact you, or pass it on to a friend if they are looking for someone... 4. Repeat It may seem a lot of work doing it like this, but you will get much better results by introducing yourself like this than by just stuffing a leaflet in the letter box.
