Air Force Search and rescue?

me and my friends were discussing this... we only knew PJ was a search and rescue member... i was wondering what other jobs are a part of the physical search and rescue?? not the guys running the communications and at base stuff. i know they do a part in it but who would be the ones who would be involved with in flight navigations, the ones who lower the stretcher? the ones who aid the wounded soldiers on the helicopter??

1. Flight Engineer and Ariel Gunner would be the only enlisted position other than a PJ The flight engineer would lower the PJ and stretcher. The PJ is a paramedic, he would perform any medical care given. Ariel Gunner is an AFSC you can enlist for. Flight Engineer is an AFSC, you have to cross train into after having experience in another maintenance AFSC.
