I am aware that Lignum vitae is the hardest, densest, and heaviest wood on the planet. Out of curiosity though, I want some comparisons. 1) how think would a sheet of Lignum vitae have to be to stop a 9 mm bullet 2) How heavy is it per square inch (Compared to ebony, and mahogany) 3) I know it will sink in water, but I am curious how fast it would sink, in a comparison of your choice.
