what's the difference between bio data, curriculum vitae and resume?

Im curious, what's teh differences between these three terminologies? which is best to submit when applying for a part time job?

Resume and CV are not very different at all; in the US we call the same document a resume whereas in the UK they call it a CV. I have no idea what 'bio data' is either here or abroad. The best thing you can submit when applying for any job is a custom built cover letter... even for a part time job.
