Are all online data entry jobs a scam?

I am not looking for a get rich quick scheme? I am just looking for a sidejob that I could do from home when I am not working, to bring in some extra income! Online data entry is really appealing to me, as I type very fast, and am great with my computer! I am really struggling though to find an actual online data entry job - as they all seem to be scams! Is anyone out there actually doing this work and making money?

1. They're all scams. There IS NO SUCH THING as a real "online data entry job".
2. Scams? There are some real jobs out there in this field. The problem is that for each job, there's 20 or more people trying to sell you access to one of these jobs. Lots of THIS work is generated in the medical field and is difficult to acquire. Those ads in your newspaper are probably all placed by the same person that is using you to get rich. Most all of the employers in this area requires data entry to be performed on company grounds.
3. Data entry is unskilled work that can be done much cheaper by people overseas. Here are a couple of things to look into. www.alpineaccess.com (there are quit a few companies like this) www.kgb.com www.chacha.com
4. they are all scam !!! Do something real, if you looking for side job think about selling something in ebay or provide private lessons, babysit.
