Jobs Simply

What would be a good city/state to make a fresh start in as far as jobs and rent goes for a single person ?

I live in Maine and I just don't like it. I'm considering packing up my vehicle and moving to somewhere that I have never been, but I only have $7,000 to get me started and keep me going till I'm settled in and able to find work.

  1. there's tons of opportunity in chicago... but you'll spend all your money on gas out here... $4 a gallon...
  2. i personally would reccomend wisconson,Minnesota, or maybe even Kentucky. if you like cheese go to wisconson big malls, lots of people, snow, lakes MINNESOTA if you like milder temps, hilly areas, hicks kentucky
  3. Savannah...omg, its soo pretty, has jobs, is cheap, and flat so you can ride bikes everywhere, im gonna go to colledge there!!!!
  4. i have to say Elizabethtown ky. there is lots of jobs. mainly factories.and if your not interested in that thereis lots of oportunities at the hospitals and we have plenty of resturants, too.theres UPS . this city was voted for the 7th best city to live in, crime rate is low,and very clean and established .rent is good too, decent apt. range from 350 to 700 a month.very good neigborhoods.my children were born and raised there and all had a great education and great jobs. go to the internet and check it out. and another good city is bardstown ky, it has alot to offer too. its about 12 miles from Elizabethtown.so check them out,i hope you find what you are looking for. good luck..things are alot cheaper here to .except for gas, like any where else, its not a hick town like people think. just freindly people. i wish you the best .
  5. North Carolina
  6. I was actually considering Florida. I LOVE SF, but I don't know how much longer I can survive here. There's too much money and too many poor people. (Guess which category I'm in.) The two don't seem to blend well.
  7. Alabama sweet home Alabama
