any one know how to get babysitting jobs?

im in maine n having a really hard time finding summer babysitting jobs so ne one help plsss!

1. see if your parents or relatives know anyone. thats really the best way i think.
2. Word of mouth is the best way. Have your parents talk to coworker and friends. You can also go to restaurants and gas stations where they have bulletin boards and advertise your services. Also a nice addition is to take a short CPR class at your local hospital they are usually offered. Then you may be able to get more business.
3. Don't advertise your services - you'll never know who you might end up with! Just ask relatives if they know anyone.
4. if you have the money add a ad in the paper, i use the website www.care.com and i found a few jobs there.. u can search for jobs and also people can see ur profile when they are looking for a sitter. i would recommend getting first aid and cpr certified. also hang up flyers in the store or hand out business cards saying your open. try www.craigslist.com also. i hope this helps..
