Asvab score needed to....?

Hello yahoo answers, i was just wondering if anyone knew the score i needed to obtain to do business management in the US Navy, I know i need a 35 to join. (yes i have a high school diploma) I am currently in Automotive school (at UTI) , just a hobby and will have 72 college credits once i graduate 1/22/2010. (less than a year) I want to be a Executive Director after the military and chose the business management as my career of choice in the navy to give me experience in the job field and id also like to obtain my BA in business management/finance in the navy So long story short, ive been researching the internet and can not seem to find the score needed to do business management i already have 2 practice asvab books, and friends at school that are former military to help me study. Just to answer the first response Business management is a job in the Navy http://www.navy.com/careers/enlisted/businessmanagement/ Business is just something i decided i wanted to do to make money, and one day be a CEO of a company (i hope) im only 18 already through my first year of college almost and only one year to go. im in ok Shape (i will need to tone up to meet weight for my height) and graduated highschool with a 3.8 I already posted the link, THE NAVY DOES OFFER A JOB IN BUSINESS MANAGEMENT.. http://www.navy.com/careers/enlisted/businessmanagement/

  1. I doubt there is a "business management" rating (i.e. job) in the navy, but you can find something similar like administration or finance. Talk to a navy recruiter to find out what ASVAB scores are required to be eligible for certain jobs. For example, becoming a corpsman wouldn't require as high a score as becoming a radar technician. Good luck on the ASVAB
  2. The Navy does not have a job that would translate to anything like business management. Maybe the closest would be the Storekeepers in the Supply Department. They manage inventory and budgets. Okay, looking at your link the jobs they are talking about are things like SK (Storekeeper). ASVAB Score: VE+AR=102 http://usmilitary.about.com/od/enlistedjob1/a/sk.htm SK is a good job. Those guys work banker's hours. The only time they work 'em like dogs is during a major replenishment in port or underway.
  3. I think there is no such thing as a business management rate in Navy. Try going to the Army, when I talked to the Army recruiter before when I was deciding which branch to join, he mentioned about Army having some good business management MOS.
