any one know of a job around the field of SEARCH & RESCUE and LAW type?

I like the idea of coastguard but dont wanna havva be in plane and dont like the idea of going to war if have to , but, is there any careers that involve or just have one of the fields of work , like...law enforement , search and rescue , a exhilarating job and one that preferably pays . something like that?

1. get something medical ie EMT or Paramedic cert. and try the national guard.
2. Well, you can be Search and Rescue in the fire department.
