Locating A First Job - HELP?

I am interesting in getting a job now that I'm 16, because I want to buy my own car. This would be my first job, though, and I am having trouble finding any local listings. Can somebody please direct me to a good internet listing source, or any reliable listing source for that matter?

1. In this economy even adults can't find jobs. You could try fast foods places, movie theaters etc. Babysitting could be a way to earn money
2. Don't apply online - online applications can get lost. Go in person to the stores you want to apply at, or if there are any new stores opening upin your area, then call the number for job enquiries. Have someone make you a professional looking resume, and wear professional and non-slutty clothes, then good luck applying! You could also ask some of your friends who have jobs if there is anything avaliable.
3. You will be best served by going to the stores and applying in person (you can work retail and fast food at 16 with a work permit).
