Are there any search and rescue jobs that pay?

I've been looking into working with search and rescue but doesn't look like anywhere pays. is it just a job that doesnt pay or does it depend on where you work? well the point i'm at in my life I need money to live. I love helping people a lot, i really do, but its not something i can afford to do. as much as i hate to say it.
