Best hands free kit for use on multiple phones?

As part of my job I need to use many different telephones in different locations, I am looking for a hands free solution that I can carry around with me and plug in when i need it without inconveniencing other people using the phone. I only have the use of one hand so writing or typing while on the phone is difficult without a hands free solution. Can anyone let me know if you have solved this problem before or offer any suggestions.

1. There is no ONE solution. Phones are very different from one system to the next. A POSSIBLE solution would be a Plantronics headset, but you need to unplug the handset on the phone and plug in a power supply for the headset. Not exactly convienient!
2. I assume that being in an office environment that your phones are system phones, in which case I would recommend that you contact your phone system vendor, so that you can purchace a cordless phone/headset that is compatible with the phone system that you are using in your office... if you are just using POTS lines in the office, then you can get yourself any cordless phone, that has a headset jack (every panasonic that i have come across has this feature)
