how to ask if I was selected for job after 2nd interview?

It has been a week since my second interview and I'm anxiously waiting to hear ANYTHING! I've followed up every interview w/ thank yous, and asked when the position will likely start/what the next step in the process is... but no word... Is a week too soon, should I give it another, or should I send another e-mail asking if there has been a decision?
