If a student from California wants to study at a 2 year college in Colorado, would $700 per month be enough to take about 2 classes per semester, and also afford to afford someplace to rent ?

1. No, I don't think so. You don't say what city in Colarado. Prices of living are different prices depending on what location you're in. You should your research first before going all the way to Colorado.
