What skills should I put in CV applying for customer service?
I'm applying as a customer service representative (online). What skills should I put in my curriculum vitae? and, uhmm, is it okay to put 'instant messaging' in it? or is it informal?

- Think about what the job entails and if you've got skills that are relevent, put them in. I'd be looking at thinks like: - able to quickly strike up a rapport with people - I don't get easily flustered - can cope with pressure and targets - enjoy helping people and giving good service - excellent telephone manner (if also handling voice queries) - good IT skills - good fast typing skills (or touch typing) If you have a good knowledge of the product(s) for which you'd be a customer service rep, say that too.
