Jobs Simply

Have you used an online job site (careerbuilder, hotjobs, monster) and actually got a job?

I've been using all three for a couple months and I'm skeptical. It seems most listings are recruiters that make you fill out one of their profiles. And alot of times when I apply I get an automatic response from an ebot. Does anyone have a success story?

  1. Try gөnөгаtіng your money by using YOU TUBE like I do. Anyone with a job can do it to top up their іnсοмө, or you can even do it permanently instead of a regular career. Try visiting http://talils.clawmap.com for a risk fгөө trial.
  2. I get my jobs on craigslist :) no luck on job sites!
  3. I feel your pain. I have been applying for customer service/call center jobs on Career Builder for about a month, and in the past week I started using Monster. I have not had one response from a company, other than the automated acknowledgment that they have received my resume. It's really frustrating. In the past when looking for jobs, I was able to go in person, fill out an application, get the name of the hiring manager and follow up with a phone call. Now all these places require that you apply on line and tell you that calling will actually hinder your chances. And that's if they even give you the name of the company...half the time you don't even know what company you're applying to. My husband ran into the same problem when he was just out of nursing school. The hospital where he really wanted to work had a "apply on line only" policy. When he tried to bring in his resume in person to the Human Resources department, they pointed to a table with 3 computers and told him to apply on line, right there in the freaking office! We heard later that this hospital only hires based on referrals from someone who works there. I'm not in dire need of a job right now, but I think I when I get really serious about looking, I'm going to hit up some job fairs so I can actually meet with the recruiters in person.
