Can I have a recruiter search for another job for me?

I got the job i'm at now (IT field) through a recruiter. I have worked here for 4 months and the job just isn't for me. I searched the recruiting company's site and have found several jobs that fit what i'm looking for. Is it OK to ask the recruiter That i want to switch jobs and to have her set me up for interviews or will they frown upon that?

1. Yes. The recruiter will help you because he/she wants to earn his/her commission. And you want to get the job you want. You have to be ready to pass the interview process. It's up to you weather you get the job or not. The recruiter will only find you the leads.
2. Why not, your company could fire you tomorrow. If you signed any agreements read them first to determine the consequences.
3. Recruiters generally like people to finish the contracts they start, from my experience. It's probably ok to ask but it's more work for them to start you at another position.
