how can a 15 year old teen find local babysitting jobs?

i need to get a job for over the summer so i can earn money. please help! if you could also suggest any other job ideas & where to go about looking for them that wud b helpful too.

1. i would make a flyer possibly one with those little tear off things at the bottom and post it at your local grocery store also make up some flyers and go stick them in neighbors mailboxes if you know they have kids also ask your parents if there is anybody at their works or if they have any friends who are looking for a babysitter you should take a red cross babysitting course to be safe, plus parents like it!
2. Take Babysitter's Training Course at the Red Cross. Post fliers in supermarkets about yourself.
3. A babysitting training course is a great idea, as well as CPR. Post a flier, take out an ad on a free classifieds site (like kijji.com), and when people contact you make sure to have references who know you are responsible and can care for children. As far as other jobs... lawnmowing and other landscaping, general odd jobs (alot of elderly people need help with lifting, just day to day things aruond the house). Also, try asking your guidance counsellor at school, alot of schools have programs set up to help students find summer employment.
4. Oh i'm 13 and im babsitting over the summer! Ha this is cool... NEways... My parents set me up with there cowprkers daughter. She is 26 and has a 10 month old baby I would try that
