i have a california driving permit and i will be moving to denver colorado will the driving permit work in colorado?

Just living in CA or CO is not good enough, as many people do not know the rules on this in their own states. Here in New York, for example, many people don't know that New York does allow its learners to drive out of state; they just assume the permit is only valid in the state in which it was issued.
