Search and Rescue Diving-Winchman?

I am currently in the Royal Navy but when it comes time to leave would like to become a search and rescue diver/winchman. I am a diver now but would like to learn more so i can train in what i can now to make me the best candidate for the job once the time comes but i am having problems finding out about it. I have contacted the Coastguard about it but they can't help.......anyone know anything? Cheers

1. Why not volunteer for aircrew in the mob and get experience before you leave.
