Jobs with horses in the Kittery, Maine Area?

I'm a 13 year old girl and i'm looking for a job at a stable in my area. I live in Kittery Maine so any job around here would work. I will either work for money or for riding time. I'm at least and intermediate rider. I've been riding for over 4 years now. I am willing to do just about anything including stalls, exercising horses, help with teaching lessons, and just about anything you can imagine. Anything to do with working in a barn at least. let me know if you know of anywhere I can work. Thanx!!!!

1. Right now you are to young to work at a barn, but try taking lessons at a nice place and then offer to volunteer, that way when you are old enough to work they will trust you and want you to work there.
2. The only stable close to you would be in Dover NH. (that I know of) I suggest just approaching the owner of a horse farm/barn and asking them if they are looking for barn help. I found 3 jobs with horses just by knocking on a door!

4. I used to live in North Berwick, not too far from you. I would suggest the Critter Barn. It would depend on exactly where you live in Kittery...you may be too far from her. It is in between North and South Berwick. Look up the number in the yellow pages and give them a call. They may need some help. Good luck.
