Is it hard to find a job in Portland, Maine right now? Also, is the bus system good?

I am thinking of moving to Portland because I heard the job market isn't so bad there. Is this true? Also, I don't have a car is the bus system good?

1. i live in portland maine--completely depends on your field as far as how easy it is too find a job...the local newspaper is called the portland press herald if you want to look up jobs online...the bus system is pretty good--you can get just about anywhere in greater portland and its suburbs without a car...the east end and the west end are the best places to live in downtown portland
