how to find jobs as a translator or interpreter?

I am a native Chinese who has been here in the US for 17 years. Since I have lived in both countries for roughly the same amount of years, both languages feel natural to me. I would like to find jobs as a translator or interpreter but don't know how to get started. Any suggestions are welcome! Also, I am not a teenager. I am in my 30's. I am also a permanent resident in the US. So there should not be any legal problems!

Send your resume to court houses. You should also try to talk to recruiters, if you look in the phone book under employment they may know of jobs like what you are looking for.
