How to raise money quickly and easy without a job!?

Basically me and some mates need money, we do have funding through birthdays and christmas etc.. However we need to boost this with some little fund-raising schemes so we can save up for our drummer's new drum kit and stuff, we need some ideas that can bring in maybe £20-£30 a go, and that could be re-used multiple times. The thing is, we don't want to go out and work because we haven't got the time or age, hope you guys can help me...thanks!

  1. How about baby sitting you could get about 20 for that Or bag packing in the local supermarket gets loads of money? xxx
  2. Try selling some stuff you and or your band mates have on ebay . Things you no longer use or have the need for. You'd be surprised what other people may want now. You could also post stuff to sell on craig's list if you really want to get some money in a hurry I guess.
  3. Steal a car.
  4. Idea no: 1. Since you aren't aged enough - the easy way is to ask your parents for money. If it is a right reason you have sponsors right at home. But I guess you are brilliant enough to figure out yourself. so read on... Idea no:2. You can try writing some school crap joke / interesting incident / poem / your experience and opinion about what the educationalists should do etc. to some magazine. They might send you some pocket money. Idea no:3. If you consider the second idea to be work, you can try stealing... Oops... that is definitely a hard work. If you are caught, repairing your damage (both physical and respect) is even more hard work. Idea no:4. Have you ever volunteered to help your neighbour - uncle or aunt - someone who has got some respect for your family? You can impress them with some little help and you can ask them to sponsor your gang with the drum stuff. Idea no: 5. Borrow. That's what every adult trying to do. Not everyone repays it on time. Some hardly pay. If you just learn the art of evading your lender, you have double benefit you prove that you can be a good politician and of course escape for a while from your lender. Idea no:6. Bet on every little thing you come across. Like this lady in the story. One old lady is too old and can't do any work. But every week she was depositing 500 - 1000 pounds a week into her bank account. The bank manager was astonished and asked her how? The lady said, "I bet". Interested in her bets, the manager asked what kind of bets she makes. She told him that she would like to bet on something and make him understand this. He didn't have a problem. She told him that his testes would swell four times larger than its normal size in 15 days time and she bet 500 pounds on it and that she would have to examine him on the 15th day and she would bring a witness to it. He agreed however he was sleepless next 15 days. On the 15th day the lady walked in to the bank with a professional looking gentleman. She smiled at him and said, "Open it up". He happily opened his pants and presented what she wanted to see. And she inspected it with her hands. The gentleman was faint by then. The manager said "Look I won" She handed him over a 1000 pounds and told him. Take your 500 pounds and put the rest to my account. The manager was confused. She explained that she made a bet with the gentle man saying she can just walk in to the bank down town and pull the manager's balls and the bet was 1000 pounds. I guess you've got some ideas better than these yourself. Wish you all the best.

  6. You have to start thinking S-M-A-R-T. What kind of cutbacks can you make? For example: I drink bottled water. Now at $1 a bottle on something that covers over 65% of our planet is not smart. So I bought one of those water filters that screw into your faucet. I have bottles that I refil over and over again. I take them to work. Do you have a lot of small appliances around that house that are always on? I cut my electronic bill almost in half by unplugging all the clock radios and night lights. I also bought some of those florescent bulbs that look a lot like a regular bulb. These things use 80% less electricity than regular bulbs. You would be surprised, but these small things add up. I know I was spending money on the water filter and energy efficient bulbs but these things will pay for themselves in a month providing they pertain to you. If you really need the money right away start cutting back on your food costs. Romain noodles cost a dime and they taste just as good as campbells chicken noodle that costs $130 a can. Ok no chicken in romain noodles, but you are probably just missing about 4 tiny pieces of chicken. Put a brick inside your toilet 'chamber'. You will use a little lesser water each time you flush..Before you know it you will be ahead. Wanna be creative? Find yourself leaving lights on? Buy a motion sensor switch, the lights will turn on when you enter the room and will turn off (by a set amount of time) when you leave the room. I have one, they cost $15 at HomeDepot. Need new windshield wipers for your car? Who says you have to buy 2? You only need the new one on the drivers side, leave the old wiper on the passenger side. So remember you have to start thinking S-M-A-R-T! Yours truly seahorsehawrey.
