Where/ What website can I find out about the salary of a specific job? and basic informations?

I don't know where to go to search for the salary and what you have to do in a job? Does anyone know any reliable websites?

1. Web sites don't give this out for free. You can compare by looking at classified ads if they advertiser will put the wages in, but otherwise, you'd have to pay for this service.
2. The Occupational Handbook is a good choice, it is compiled by the US government and lists job titles, average salaries and the outlook of the professions. Its a good place to start!!
3. Try the US Deptarment of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics web site. It has an brief summary of jobs and has the salaries. http://www.bls.gov/

5. Indeed.com actually has a great service for this. And it's free. Indeed does two things: Search using a keyword to find average salaries: http://www.indeed.com/salary Or you can search for jobs and limited your search to those paying a certain amount. To do that, perform a keyword search and once you've got a results page you can change the refinement setting in the left column. Or, you can also just search for a dollar amount in the keyword field. Here is an example of that: http://www.indeed.com/q-nurse-$50000-jobs.html This shows all nurse jobs that are paying more than $50,000. Note, some of the listings are estimated to pay in that range if they don't provide a salary.
