Can anyone give me some ideas on a good way to market my 'employment services' website?
I work for a company that makes a magazine to help people find jobs. We have thousands of job listings through out the magazine where job seekers can go and look for work. We just recently launched our website and I want to know anyone out here can recommend some good ways to market a site like ours. I know the obvious ways would be Pay Per Click (which we are already doing)...I just want to know if there are any other good ways of bringing traffic to our site. Our competition would be something like CareerBuilder or Monster or HotJobs...we are a smaller version of those sites.

- It seems you have a very interesting site that could help a lot of jobless people. Try to submit your website to popular directories and search engines as well then also try to build links on your site there are those free and paid options..And you can as well try blogging with interesting contents. In this way, you can market your site and drive traffic to it. or the best remedy is try to set your outsourcing.

- My Dear Friend, Let me take you to the core point of success...If YOU WANT YOUR SITE TO BE UNIQUE AND SOMETHING VERY DIFFERENT. Don't offer JOBS TO EVERYBODY! Serve to a specific niche. E.g. 'JOBS for whom are just Fired', 'Jobs for ONLY Teenage Boys Or Girls' Jobs for Physically Handicapped".....etc. Think and do brainstorming with your near and dear people. Dear, I may guide you more but usually I charge for my ideas....So that you can also evaluate me and my skills. All the best. - You can always incorproate a Mobile Marketing Campaign in some of your existing marketing tools and it will be a fresh & innovative way to attract some visitors. You will also be one of the few that have utilized this new form of marketing that is catching on quick.
- It’s rarely an instant return on the Internet. You need your website coming up relevant to what people "search for" on the Internet. It takes time to get placement in the right places within the Internet and if you're listed in the right category of searches you stand a better chance of returns. The following is one of the better ways. For a small charge you can have a “Permanent” website advertisement placed in an index such as this in a choice of around 750 categories to target your business trade. This will raise your website profile and increase its chances of extra sales because this site is indexed by the search engines placing your site within public searches. The advantage of a site like this is that you don’t have to update your listing again. For a permanent ongoing promotion: http://www.search-the-world.com/form/listing
