When a college application asks for a curriculum vitae, what exactly do they want?

This is for a home-schooled student. Do they want more than a full transcript with all courses taken and the grades? It's not like she is an academic with a list of published articles, which is how I think of a CV.

1. Yes, more than a transcript. CV is really a synonym for a resume, it i al the stuff that comes outside of a transcript. Honor Societies, Extracurriculars, Employment and volunteering, School Awards, Athletics to an extent. Just Sell Yourself!!!
