What is the easiest way to find temporary jobs?

I'm a college student trying to find a temporary job. I can only work through New Years. I have a job as a UPS driver helper but its on call and I've yet to get to work and I've been on break for 3 weeks. I'm kinda annoyed waiting to get to work. I need money for school. Does anyone know of how I can find temporary jobs. Just odd and end jobs even. I really don't care.

1. Go to an agency near you, they help you find jobs right away...i think they even help you make a resume. That's where im planning on looking for a job, or you can always be a stripper...=]
