Shouldn't California, Colorado and Florida pay more for fuel?

I'm thinking if your state is not willing to help with the problem is just contributing to the issue and should pay a premium for their dishonorable position. Cant we figure out how to charge these states enough to offset the price so other states dont pay more than 2/gallon?

  1. Not sure what you are talking about but, California has had the highest gas prices for a long time. Even higher than Alaska and Hawaii.
  2. California already has the highest fuel prices on average in the country, what exactly are you whining about?
  3. What? NO! Why do you put CO in with states like CA and FL? I'm from CO and we pay enough. CA if like the greenest state so I don't know what you are talking about they are not helping with the problem (and what is the problem exactly?) I think every state beside CA, CO and FL should pay at least $7/gallon, LOL
  4. I vote that the cost of a gallon should go to $8.00 a gallon. Then people would actually question and pay attention to why the price of oil is happening. Why other countries feel like they can charge us so much. The big why is that the US dollar is not worth squat.
