Are there any online job search websites that don't suck?

I have a full time job and other responsibilities, and as a result I don't have time to drive around town and pick up applications at random places. I don't have any vocational skills and I haven't graduated college yet, so I'm pretty much limited to entry-level positions. The only problem is, online job listings like craigslist or monster seem to be loaded with ads for phone sales, work-from-home scams, or ads for jobs which require some sort of skillset I don't have. My local newspaper classified isn't much help either...it's all the same sorts of ads. Anyone know of any websites which offer decent, dignified, entry-level job listings?

  1. think about where u want to work and apply then youl get a job that you like@!!! for ideas go through the phone book and think to your self i would work wthere
  2. Since you say you haven't graduated college YET, I assume you are in college and relatively close to graduating. If so, have you tried your college's career center. Most colleges have an office devoted to helping graduates find jobs and they do quite a bit of outreech to companies.
  3. There are many online offers on Internet but most of them are scam! Before you join any work from home company, please check out http://leenk.org/link/scam-report You will find some articles and guidelines to help you determine if an opportunity is a scam or not.
  4. www.Myjobsearcher.com
  5. Set up a job search at indeed.com. This site searches all the sites and will give you jobs posted anywhere that meet your criteria. Be specific about what you are looking for and you should see results. If not, changge your criteria. You can receive an e-mail message a day with job postings; some are repeats, but good if you overlook some.
