Hi i applied for my renewal of work authorization permit a week ago. my problem is ive been selected for job!!?

My work authorization is not even received by the department as they have not deducted the fee from my account yet. i m really upset. how can i get the job. will they not hire me without my permit.i had it valid till last month and has sent for renewal.had no clue renewal will also take this long. plz help me.if i delay my job i wont get it again its one time chance.

1. Your employer will request you to fill out I-9 Form, which is required to do so for all employers in US by USCIS and DHS. When you fill out I-9 form, you are required to present the work permit. I'm not sure what your new employer would do when you cannot present the work permit. They can still hire you without pay until you get the permit, or they will choose other candidate, it is totally up to them. http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/I-9.pdf
2. Well really you don't need your new EAD as soon you get the receipt of your I765 with the old card and the receipt you can work legally till the uscis take the final decision. Takes around 90 days for renewal Your employer can not hire you if you have no a work authorization, but you can work "Ad honorem" without getting pay for a couple of weeks till you get your receipt
