1. Read about everything on this country from the government site: http://travel.state.gov/travel/cis_pa_tw/cis/cis_1071.html be careful it looks pretty scarey there.
2. It is supposed to be one of the best countries to live in, in Africa. Read this page, it should tell you some of what you want to know (including currency info) http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/country_profiles/1068674.stm A couple of teachers from our school moved out there last year and are reportedly loving it.
3. Best choice you could make. I love Bots. Its safe living conditions are great. People are fantastic. If I could I would go work in Bots and I come from South Africa. What you going to do there?
4. Let's see........virtually all people of the country are unmixed black african with a TINY coloured and white minority. According to HDI (Human Developement Index), Botswana has the best living conditions of Continental Sub-Saharan Africa.
