College Grad, majored in Music Industry, minor in Popular Music. Seeking Full-time job...What are my options?

I've recently graduated from College, with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Industry(my school has a Music Ind. program), as well as a minor in Popular Music. My overall GPA is 3.45 and have worked in Promotions for some time at a local Radio Station. I'm about an hour or so away from NY, one of the two major locations for the Industry(the other being LA). I'm seeking Full-time employment, though most of the listings I've come across are either Part-time, or Internship-only. Ideally, I'd like to work in a Recording Studio, since I also play and work with software all the time. But I'm not picky, I'm more concerned with having Full-time employment. I have a resume, as well. Those of you familiar with the Industry, and have worked in it, what would you advise me to do? Do you know of any additional opportunities I can take a look into? I wish to start working ASAP. Thanks for all your help!

  1. Readjust your career........get back into collage and get into the health field while your still young.......never want for work........you've going to starve in the music industry.........this economy sucks.......... There are thousand and thousands of talented, experience people on the street due to the economy…the competition for any job is extreme. …people will do anything for much less just to feed their kids……..I don’t expect it to get any better before 2012……sorry…… report all spammers.......like the guy who did'nt answer your question........
