Do you agree w/ medical marijuana laws in California, Alaska, Colorado, Hawaii & the 6 other states its legal?

I sure do... I wish it was all 50 states and not just 10. If you agree or disagree please explain why. Do you believe that individuals who are suffering and in pain should be forbidden to relieve their symptoms with cannabis? For some people it is the only way they experience relief. Who are we to say no to them? Explain why you think it is OK to take this pain reliever away from sufferers.

  1. I defiantly feel that sufferers should be allowed to medicinally use marijuana. Who is anyone to tell them they can't? It is so frustrating that it is not legal in all 50 states. The government is insane because they could tax marijuana and make millions! What is the deal???
  2. Medical or recreational, it doesn't matter. The federal government was never granted the power over any substance except alcohol (which was repealed because of the disastrous effects of Prohibition), and it's only a state issue if the residents grant that state such powers, which would require modification of their state Constitution. Just another example of our federal government's abuses of power, and criminal actions.
  3. So far, the vast majority of those who get medical marijuana that I have seen seem to be suffering from depression. That is, when they don't get high, they get bummed. For those who can demonstrate some real medical need, the law in every state, including federal law, allows a physician to prescribe marinol, thc in a pill form. The truth of the matter is that no one really wants prescribed doses of thc They just want to smoke dope whenever the need arises.
  4. I think cannabis needs to be decriminalized everywhere
  5. I am in Illinois and I think it should be legalized for medical purposes.
